Graduate Credit
Graduate credit is available for METC participation and classroom work, with a small application fee, through Lindenwood University or Webster University. Both universities will be present in the prefunction area on Tuesday and Wednesday conference days.
University
One credit hour is earned for METC. Tuition rate is $60 per credit hour plus $5.00 for transcript. Participants who desire to earn one hour of graduate Education credit will complete the following requirements:

One graduate credit is available for METC and assignment and one graduate credit available for the Action Research Follow-up (see below). Tuition is $86.00 per credit hour which includes copy of transcript. Participants will complete the following requirements:
METC Action Research Follow-Up Project
Take your METC experience back to the classroom and get graduate credit from Webster University! Participants of the Follow-Up Project will make a commitment to engage in an action research project in their classrooms and to share their experiences with the group, either face to face or in a videoconference. Participants choose a strand of the METC conference and attend sessions that are in the discipline they teach or in areas they are responsible to supervise. At school, they will try out the new strategy in teaching a lesson or unit in their curriculum. For more details or to sign up, visit the Cooperating School Districts’ Booth in the Exhibit Hall.

- Fully participate in Conference activities.
- Upon return to your school implement an instructional activity presented at the conference and prepare a Conference Action Plan.
- Description of Activity (describe the conference activity to be utilized in your work setting, and show how it supports your instructional goals.)
- Desired Outcomes: (describe the learning outcomes expected from the participants in your work setting as a result of this instructional activity.)
- Assessment Method/Plan: (explain how you measure the impact of this activity on the achievement level of your participants.)
- Return the Conference Action Plan by March 1, 2010.

- Attend ten sessions of two days of the conference, including keynotes
- Describe several unique technology developments from the pre-conference, keynote speakers, and/or breakout sessions at this conference
- Develop an activity based on one of these unique technology
- Developments to initiate (or continue) the integration of educational technology
- Share this activity with a colleague, grade-level/department chair, principal, or superintendent
- Describe the reaction and feedback regarding this activity
- Complete and submit the above on the Conference Summary and Activity Plan by March 5, 2010 to Merryl Crivelli at the address below.
