Registration Desk
Registration Desk is located on the Lower Level of the St. Charles Convention Center. Hours are:
Tuesday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To orient yourself with the St. Charles Convention Center, use this map. Three breakout rooms in the Embassy Suites have been added to the conference site.
Tues & Wed Mornings
Before the morning keynote, arrive extra early, grab a cup of coffee and crumpet then head to one of the Birds of a Feather tables in the Grand Ballroom! Take this time (7:15-7:45 am) to participate in a casual discussion about technology and its effect on learning and education with educators who share a similar interest such as digital media, library media center, 21st Century skills or other instructional technology topic.
Keynote sessions are scheduled 8:00-9:15 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom.
Plan your conference days using the Searchable Program. You may search for multiple words at once such as keywords, session title, presenter's name, or day of conference.
To see if the presenter has posted electronic handouts, click on session title. This takes you to the detail page of that session where session handouts will be listed. Presenters are requested to post handouts by February 8.

Exhibitor Time and More!
Plan your visit to the Exhibit Hall and chat with the vendors that are of interest to you.
* On Tuesday, join us for the "Meet the Exhibitors" special event in the Exhibit Hall from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy food, beverages, and music. Vendor drawings will be announced. A fun time to browse products and talk with exhibitors.
* Play the Trivia Quiz. Visit METC Exhibitors for Trivia Quiz answers (iPod giveaway), sign up for their booth drawings, and see new products!
Special Dietary Needs
If you have a special diet, please contact Jennifer Williams, Catering Sales Manager at the St. Charles Convention Center. Your special lunch will be set aside with your name. Ask one of the convention center employees to get your lunch.
Parking
The St. Charles Convention Center offers 1,200 parking spaces. There is NO parking fee!
Professional Development Follow-up Opportunity
To enhance your learning experience at the METC 2010, you will have the opportunity to join a follow-up group to bring together educators who are interested in subject strands or to share experiences using new strategies and techniques. Plus, you can get one graduate credit!
The Conference planning committee has put together a great program that we think offers a diverse collection of presentations. We look forward to meeting you.
